Care to explain how Matta doesn't compare to Izzo?

(and to your point about Matta having talent... I'm reasonably sure Izzo has had some talent too, there, boss)

Izzo has 6 Final 4 appearances "boss", 7 Big Ten Titles, 4 Big Ten Tourney Titles, 7 Elite 8's, 12 Sweet 16's, 17 Tourney bids. So I assume for some stupid reason you decided to exclude his overall numbers at MSU and only look at since Matta came to OSU, but that my friend is asinine to ignore Izzo's whole time at MSU. Bc even though he has only been a head coach 5 years longer, his resume is definitely more impressive than Matta's in his 10 years.

Since we are only talking about Matta at Ohio State it would make sense to only compare his resume in that same time span.

I realize that flew so far over your head that you couldn't see the bottom of it, but crass generalizations are what we've come to expect from a troll of your stature.

Oh did it fly over my head? That's why I said "only look at since Matta came to OSU" so perhaps you should check your ego and read more carefully. So you're telling me that it's fair to compare the two during their time at the same time only? Guess we will just ignore overall tenure and go by a chosen set of dates to say they are basically the same. Rick Carlisle is now better than Phil Jackson.... if you look at how their teams both did in 2010 NBA. How fun!

Yes, it's absurd to compare a decade worth of seasons when both faced each other and the same level of competition. Much more crazy than saying tOSU should go out and hire a couple of coaches with long NCAA rap sheets, a 73 year old man in the final years of his career, or a failed former scUM HC who's currently lighting up the Ivy League. How fun! If you want to compare Matta vs Izzo's entire body of work, Thad has about nine more years to catch up to what Izzo has done to date.

Sprinkles has a perfect record with zero losses.

Sprinkles knows jumping.

Sprinkles knows about dribbling. But he uses the litter box now.

Sprinkles can do double duty as a mascot.

Sprinkles can recruit with the power of the purrs.

Sprinkles is young and vibrant.

Sprinkles has designed a trademark set of agility exercises called the Ankle Weavers™. These are both entertaining and invigorating.

Sprinkles has a special nap regimen guaranteed to produce top-notch game time zoomies.

Sprinkles has no major infractions. But don't look under the rug. No, seriously. Don't.

Yeah... Izzo hasn't been shit since he lost Mateen Cleaves.

Sorry... had to use your logic there for a second.... Fine... We'll use their whole coaching careers...

How is it that Matta doesn't compare to Izzo? I'm not doing the research for you this time. Show me a side by side comparison that supports your position. Otherwise, shut the fuck up.... or at least make good on your ... what...threat? Promise? to take you tired schtick to some other board.
