Some of you are not understanding the message. Therefore, I will lay it out in plain language.

If you bash a Buckeye on this site, you will leave for 14 days. Period. No warnings, no edits....straight out the door.

I'm sick of the cracks on Todd Boeckman, the coaches, and various other aspects and players.

If you feel the need to talk such garbage, find another site or we will help you find it.

The garbage is done around here.

what is the official definition of "bash"?

Any form of criticism that attempts to degrade, humiliate, or ridicule.

Example:

Critique: Boeckman was slow on his progressions today. He needs to step up his game for us to be successful.

Bashing: Boeckman is awful and will never win a big game because he locks in on one WR and chokes under pressure.

How about: boy, these guys played like first rounders against OU....

Not sure that comment was necessary. I guess that some people don't realize the amount of players and family members that frequent this site. We have built a strong reputation over the years because the flaming gets shot down.

If you want to hear yourself bitch and moan.......head over to Bucknuts, or ESPN. :wink2:

Thats what Im talking about, lay the effin wood to those who can't respect our own team. :banger:

Ya know, in the military we have a quote: "Either stand behind the Soldiers, Airmen and Marines, or TRY to stand in front of them!" Im sure a lot of our players would have the same attitude about their team and those who pick and chose when to support them.

I love that this site is all about respecting the team.

Just a small note:

Be sure to hit the mods/admins ('cept JCOSU, the pr ck) with some rep. Not only do they have a thankless job for the most part, they don't get paid a whole lot. :p

They also crack Buckeye knuckleheads when they step out of line from time to time. They are a crucial part of this site, and a huge reason this is a true Buckeye haven on the net.

I'm new here and don't know what the "norm" is at this site, but it's always po'd me to great ends when ANYONE who claims to be a fan of this football program "boo's" a player at a game. I guess the same should hold true for an internet site. Just because you buy a ticket to a game gives you ZERO right to disrespect these kids who simply play for the love of the game. I guess in the same light it can be said that hiding behind a "username" on an internet site gives you no right to bash a player either.

The majority of the kids that represent this football program on the field had choices to attend numerous other schools. These schools may have offered more to a wide-eyed 18 year old at the time of the offer that we couldn't, and I'll use Terrelle Pryor as an immediate example and the playing time he would have received at Michigan this year. These kids that wear the "Scarlet and Gray" are here because they love this program, this team, and this University probably more than any of us will ever know.

Any one who considers themselve to be a true Buckeye fan needs to respect this, and 99.9% do. If you happen to find youself in that other 00.01% then do all of us a favor and head north. Ann Arbor is only about 3 hours away if you drive fast, and GOD knows they can use some extra fans.

Cold! But sadly for Michigan, this seems to be the truth as well. That place is having some issues...

I heard some of that at the Ohio game and it pissed me off. I was frustrated like a lot of fans, and while I shook my head at some of JT's calls (I'm pretty sure he couldn't see my face up in South Stands) I've always known it's not "boo, boo, boo the home team", as long as the effort is there.

As ticket buying fans/alums, all we can demand is effort. As long as they're trying to win, our role is to support them. We are not owed a victory.

Go Bucks! Beat SC! :osu:
