I think they will get trounced in the playoffs, yea its their first year in D1 and all, but they didn't face any D1 teams except for Whetstone(and they sucked this year) and Glenville this year. So saying its a great thing with them going 9-1 in their first year of D1 is not really saying anything when you look at the teams they faced. Only two or three good teams on their schedule this year. Glenville, Beechcroft, and you can say Mifflin if you want to because they were pretty good, not great, but good. I don't believe any of their other opponets had a winning record.

Well, assuming you get points for "strength of schedule," it helped them with points.

Assuming I'm an idiot who has no idea what's going on, it probably helped the marching band practice harder during the week. St. Ed's has some hot cheerleaders. :biggrin:

TG, please tell me you aren't playing this anti brookhaven role. I would still root for the 'croft if they made the playoffs and Brookhaven didn't. You have to cheer for whatever city league team makes it because it is pretty rare when it happens. I don't think Brookhaven will do that bad in the playoffs. They have a very productive offense and there deffense has plenty of speed.

It's good to see my old high school make the playoffs! Except that they play Buchtel in the first round. Oh well, I'll get to go to one game anyways. Go Southeast Fighting Pirates.

Gotta give a shoutout to my high school alma mater the Willougby South Rebels!!!

#2 in Division 2 Region 5! I have watched a few games and their offense has been explosive and a very opportunistic defense. Underated most of the year they might be able to go farther than anyone else thinks they can.
