Fight Songs

Buckeye Battle Cry is my favorite fight song, but nothing gives me chills like Le Regiment and the Incomparable Script Ohio. I like the fact that 100,000 plus celebrate excellence and hard work. Not just the excellence of our football team, but that 100,000 will cheer just as loudly for an unknown susaphone player, the Best Damn Band in the Land and all the hard work involved. THAT moment is when I know we are sharing in something special, something more than just a football game, more than just the desire to be great, but moreso the effort to be great.

My favorite Fight Songs are the Notre Dame Victory March and Across the Field. I've always liked Across the Field, our high school stole it for our fight song, so theres two good reasons to like it. Nothin' like hearing that song played on the field after we scored

Buckeye Battle Cry is my favorite, for the same reasons MolGen gave. But I love Across the Field too. And Le Regiment is also a great one.

I enjoy whistling "Hail to the Vulvarenes" while taking a Michigan in the morning.

When my Detroit uncles are in town I change the words to something like "Hail to the Homos flaming"

I have across the field as my ringtone on my cell.

I love Hang On Sloopy, but when I heard it recently I got this pitted feeling in my stomach and a horrid flashback to ~3rd/4th quarter of the Fiasco Bowl.

Aside from that, I like Across The Field the best.
