Does OSU have a down field threat that can go deep against a team like Texas ???

Cowherd said something that I've been thinking, but I hesitated to say:

Ohio State is thrilled to be there and is playing for something.

Texas is disappointed that they are where they are.

He also said that athletically Ohio State isn't even in the same league as Texas, which I happen to disagree with.

Longhorn fans, do you think that the team is "disappointed" with where they are bowl wise? We saw what happened to a much better Ohio State team when they just "showed up" against Florida a couple of years ago.

Texas is saying all the right things. But, do they really care? Are they really excited to be there?
And are the Buckeyes out of gas or do they still have some fire left in the tank?
Isn't that what it really comes down to?

I'm not sure how they could be out of gas. All they've heard for the last two years is how bad they suck. Both from their own fans and from the local and national media.

The last two years can be wiped away with a win next Monday. I think that's what they are playing for.

Seriously...do we? I don't see us offering much of a deep threat to Texas. Unless Small or Posey emerge in a way they haven't yet this season, I'm unsure where the deep threat is.

I don't buy into the idea that Texas wont care. The last time they faced Ohio State they got punked in their own house and had their 21 game win streak snapped. This is only the third time these two programs have played and Texas is very fortunate to get another crack at tosu when a lot of the players that beat them in 2006 are still there. This is the next best thing to the NC in my opinion. Not to mention i'm sure Colt wants another crack at them. You never forget your first loss as a starter.

Of course I could be wrong. But I sure as hell hope not!

if Ohio Sate wait to even have a deep threat TP needs to stop under throwing that person most of the time.
:oh:
Duder, seriously, This sentence makes so little sense, then you critique a Buckeye, don't make any positive comment about the Bucks and end with an O-H not a great way to get an IO back... Also it's well known that JT has told his players he would rather have an underthrow and have the reciever make a play than an overthrow... TB did it all last year and people seem to forget that they critcized him of the same thing. Have a little faith.

Betting on OSU/Texas?

Just curious who in the BP community has real $$ on this game. If so, how much did you wager, and how did you bet. Latest line I have seen is Texas by 8.5

*I wagered 160 for the Bucks to pull the upset.
