Fiesta Bowl - Oklahoma 42, Boise St. 43 (OT-Final, Jan. 1, 2007)

A carom on a rolling punt gives Oklahoma the ball inside the 10. Peterson punches it in and gets Oklahoma back in the game. It's exactly what they needed - it gets Peterson back into the gameplan for the fourth quarter.

...Meanwhile, Paul Thompson is doing a spot-on impression of Reggie Ball.

Is it just me, or is this camera man doing a TERRIBLE job of following the action? He's totally biting on the play-action fakes. He reminds me of the Michigan linebackers and safeties on the TS bomb on 11/18...

Big stop by BSU'd defense. And a good job just to hold the ball by the punt returner who got blasted at midfield. Broncos need at least a FG on this drive, though.

Perhaps its endemic.

I hear they have a superb program in media graphics at Michigan.

Ugh, Ian Johnson fumble.

Increasingly, defenders are eschewing the tackle in favor of attempting to strip the ball. While this leads to a lot of broken tackles and extra yards for ballcarriers, sometimes they just need to realize that they need to go down and survive to play another down rather than risk giving up the ball like Johnson just did.
