He called me up, all excited because he found of DVD copy of "CannonBall Run" on sale. I had no idea what that was or who was in it.

Cannonball Run is among my very early movie theater memories - my dad took me with a group of other friends/dads that were all in Indian Guides.

Good times, good times.

Surely some of you know what Indian Guides is/was?

I love the one-star review!

I'm 50 pages into this book and it is, by far, the WORST book I've ever read. The problem? you ask. I'm 50 pages deep and the author hasn't really gotten to the point.

Pick up a copy of wired to get a 4-6 page rundown, which fits well with his subject matter.

Pretty fascinating stuff, but after hearing him talk on the daily show, I can see how it could become rather cumbersome in book form.

I'm not that old, but I remember watching Cannonball Run as a kid.

Big deal, (I'm not that older either and) I remember watching it as an adult.

I even can remember when Burt Reynolds actually had some hair.

.... The other set is from the 1950s--I want to say 1954. Certainly would like to have that collection in my library.

I have a '54 throwback World Book Encyclopedia. It only vaguely resembles the actual book though.
