Just finished reading John U. Bacon's latest book, 4th and Long, and he gives Zach a very nice compliment in the 'Acknowledgements' section. Apparently Zach wasn't all that thrilled with how Bacon portrayed his brother, Justin, in his previous work, 3 and Out, due to his high profile transfer but worked with Bacon anyway. Sounds like the two were able to work it out and Zach was able to provide some meaningful input to Bacon's effort. Classy!

ZACH BOREN SIGNS WITH THE TENNESSEE TITANS

Zach Boren's footballing days aren't done yet.

Devin Gardner's murderer has signed with the Tennessee Titans, according to the team's website. The Titans labeled Boren a fullback in the release, and to make room for him, the Titans released FB Connor Neighbors. A move back to his original position could be on tap for the former Buckeye FB/LB.

Boren signed with the Houston Texas as an undrafted free agent in 2013, but spent most of the time with the practice squad. The Chargers signed him in 2014, but he failed to turn the camp invite into anything fruitful as he was released shortly thereafter.

He was cut during the last round. I was wondering how he might fit on the roster; he had been listed around 6th on the TE depth chart.
