FB/LB David Durham (transfer to Pittsburgh)

My Take: I love the grinders...David is a well-coached, polished HS LB who wastes very little motion. He explodes downhill. At DE, he is not as polished but just as tenacious. The clip on Rivals at the 2:55 mark stood out to me...lateral explosion.

I'm sure thats what the staff saw too when they told him they'd stand him up, and have him with a hand down. I'm pumped about this kid - wouldnt be surprised to see him really burst onto the national recruiting radar next season.

It will be interesting to see how Durham and Jamel Turner manage to fit into the defensive scheme. I had envisioned Turner playing the LEO role at OSU and it seems strange to have two kids in the same class for that position. Heck, if you read some of the articles on J.T. Moore, he has said that the coaches have talked to him about both DE and LB.

To be fair, Kevin at Rivals had this about 30 mins. before BN did... Just to be fair on who had the "scoop"...

Definitely a surprise, but I like the kid's film... Very nasty... Welcome David...
