'Tis correct LJB. At one time, we were considered the favorites. I wouldn't say that we currently are, but maybe his visit this weekend will rekindle those feelings.

Olson Set With Four Visits

The offers have come in fast and furious in recent weeks for RB Aram Olson (6-2 240) of Irmo, and just as quickly he will whip through his visits and make a decision. The big fullback will visit Ohio State this weekend, Auburn on the 13th, Texas A&M on the 15th and Florida State on the 20th. All four have offered Olson. He has not indicated a favorite.

I was browsing through some articles and saw that Aram has a 4.7 GPA and scored 1790 on his SAT and a 27 on his ACT...

Aram received an in-home visit from the Auburn RB coach on Tuesday. Olson's final four are Ohio State (visit 1/6); Auburn (1/13); Texas A+M (1/15); and Florida State (1/20); he will decide after taking all four visits.

According to Chris Nida of BSB, Dick Tressel visited Aram this evening, as did coaches from Florida State.

Aram is originally from Wisconsin, and according to his high school coach, he may want to play at a northern school; his finalists are Ohio State, Florida State, Auburn, and Texas A+M.

Olson Visits Ohio State

RB Aram Olson (6-2 240) of Irmo made his official visit to Ohio State over the weekend. "I loved everything," he said. "It was a really good visit. It was my first one so I wasn't used to the procedures. I learned everything I wanted to know about Ohio State." Olson did not commit and will continue with his visits. He will go to Auburn January 13th and Florida State January 20th. He was going to work in a trip to Texas A&M over the Martin Luther King Holiday but has decided not to and won't visit College Station. Ohio State coach Jim Tressell is scheduled for his in home visit January 19th.
