I knew the moment they showed the category that it wasn't going to go well for those contestants. English teacher in a bowtie? Nope. Female DC attorney? Nope. (Sexist...I don't care.) 98 lb Seattle kid? Nope. I was chastised for being judgy, but I definitely got to "I told you so" her when they finally got to that category. Worth it.

Here's the whole video... it's pretty tremendous, both for Baldwin's perspective and for a reminder of what conservative thought used to look like in Buckley. It'd be great to have something of this caliber again, rather than the name calling and ad hominem attacks we see from the intellectual lightweights in politics today.
