As far as I can tell, the black dot in the middle of the icon means you've posted in that thread.

That makes sense to me. I just didn't see anything at the bottom in the legend describing that particular icon.

I, myself, like all the info under the user name. As the membership grows it's possible that fans of other teams will use the My Team option. I definately like the membership number. But as Mili pointed out there is always the possibilty that a user looking to cause trouble probably wouldn't fill the My Team part out in any case or if they did it may not be the team they actually support. I like it the way it is but if the consensus says remove it I can live with that too.

I like having the team posted on the left and can't imagine too many trouble makers abusing it. Like gbear, I went to a 1A school in Ohio, but could really care less what they do athletically. Having only team listed looks good to me.
