I was stationed at Ft. Lewis in 67 - 68 and lived in Olympia. After experiencing "Southern Hospitality" where the locals upped prices on the military and at a time when most of the nation couldn't wait to spit on your uniform, the people of Olympia were welcoming and supportive. I'll never forget that. I'll always be grateful to them.

Token Lincoln, NE vote.

Our State Capitol Building is pretty cool. Lincoln is a nice, if quiet, town. It'll get markedly better with downtown improvements under way right now, and we're getting a Whole Foods soon. That deserves at least one vote.
