While I was back in Columbus for the Texas-OSU game, did you guys by any chance have a game? I remember driving by the rugby fields and I could have sworn you guys were facing someone. I wanted to stay and watch, but it was my first time back there in something like 8 years and decided instead to tour the city before going to the game...

that was our first scrimmage of the year against the Chicago Lions of the Super League (highest level of competition in this country). our boys learned a little something that day...jwins can testify that we are usualy the ones handnig out the beatings, but not that day.

ah yes... it's becoming clearer now, tho I tend to badmouth tennis a bit to those who know me (pro tennis is a different animal tho). Had she suddenly become obsessed with beach volleyball I would definitely have taken credit. Or an affinity for a show about the SonofJorEl and his herum of women.

no doubt. A beanpole arm should not be able to generate a 115 mph serve. As for the wooden ones, for fun in HS I often warmed up with one of the family heirlooms shown below. Definitely easier to smash too :wink:
