Women's rugby...or at least it was for a little while.
haha...at one point the only team on campus that welcomed public nudity.

My 2 week experiment with the sport was enough to make me respect those guys forever...then again, I lived with a wrestler at tOSU and my respect for them is unlimited as well.

I would like to say that if I posted the infamous photo of the women's rugby team that there would be a lot of votes swayed rugby's way, but in all honesty, it was not very flattering.
tg05...there hasn't been a lot of crossover in the sports of rugby and football. in countries like South Africa, Austrailia and New Zealand, professional rugby players are paid like NFL players...primarily those who play in the Super 12, which is like the rugby version of the NFL.
the on player, who happens to be one of my favorites, who I think could make the transition is Richie McCaw. 6-3 233 pounds probably runs in the 4.6 range and is one of the fiercest tacklers I have ever seen in any sport. I seriously think if he ever wanted to he could sign with an NFL team as a rush end and make a living for himself. instead he makes a fortune as the captain of the Canterbury Crusaders and the New Zealand All-Blacks.

yes he was...he has been out to watch several of our practices/games.
pittman, lyons and a few other guys also made it to a couple of our games last fall.

this should ben enough IMO (besides the complete domination in the game). (IMO) OSU's most painful hit on TSUN all year (huge hit created an audible crack... delivered by a very large man on a padless wolverine):
