I was at a friends apartment. There was about 13 people. We all
Went nuts when that catch was made. I remember hugs, tears, handshakes
Kisses ( obviously it wasn't just us guys) whiskey and a nice victory cigar.

My best friends, a couple a hadn't seen in a long time. With the biggest game
And a win...finally. Went a long way towards easing the pain of the previous 3
Years.

I was at my Aunts. She had tons if family over for the game.
3 rooms with TV's. 30+ people. I was just in Columbus the week
Previous to see my older cousin who was a junior at the time.
You know how campus is before a big game. You miss it. I can
Still feel the energy and buzz from every single person. I'll never
Forget Musbergers " lets party Columbus".

Other than Holy Buckeye, this is my favorite call by Musburger. This was when I lived in Cbus and high street was still filled with vomit, urine and women with impaired judgement. Good days...

I didn't see this one posted, yet. And I couldn't find "ourhonordefend's" version of it. But this one is good.

First time I was present for Ohio State beating Michigan (was 0-4-1 before that). Once Ohio State got the ball on their own 1 yard line, they pretty much dominated that whole game. I kept expecting Michigan to get their asses back in the game. But the come-back never came.

I doubt that this is my favorite, but I figured this game needed its recognition.

The play (and game) that established that Jim Tressel was going to make scUM his bitch. The specific play starts around the 2:40 mark:

ON THIS DAY IN HISTORY, 2002: “HOLY BUCKEYE!”

On this day in history 15 years ago, Nov. 9th, 2002, to be exact, No. 3 Ohio State found itself trailing trailing Purdue, 6-3, with 1:52 left in the fourth quarter.

On 4th and 1, Buckeye coach Jim Tressel eschewed his conservative nature and dialed up King Right 64 Y Shallow Swap.

Quarterback Craig Krenzel, who had only attempted six passes on the day, went deep to Michael Jenkins for a 37-yard touchdown pass, the only six-point play of the afternoon, as Ohio State held off Purdue, 10-6 in West Lafayette.

It was Minnesota in the rain. Ohio State won 49-7, I think. It was pouring rain and I took my disabled father. We were under ponchos and I was so worried he was too weak and would get sick, but he would not leave at the end of the third quarter.

I don't remember the score or even the year exactly. I had been in Africa for years seeing only occasional press clippings when they got through the Apartheid censors and usually after the season.

I remember the look on his face as the Buckeyes smashed them and how it felt to make him that happy. He told me on the way to the car that he knew it would be the last time he could make it from the car to the stadium and it was.

That look on his face is my favorite moment in Ohio State football.

Yep, forgot I could check the University website. 1987 Ohio State 42 Minnesota 9. Was wrong about them scoring late. They scored late in the 1st half and then got shutout in 2nd 28-0.

Just sayin': The only game I ever attended at Purdue was the infamous 1984 game where we trailing 28-23, driving for a potiential game winning TD, with seconds to go, and on 4th down on Purdue's 34 yard line Mike Tomczak thows the ball out of bounds to stop the clock.

The other memerble event that day was: I locked my keys in the car in the parking lot and I had to have a cop pop the door open, he had one of those metal bars with a knotch on one end:

It took the cop about 5 seconds to unlock my door. I'm sure anyone with a similiar piece of metal could have done the same thing. Which makes you wonder why you even bother to lock your car in the first place.
