Well, of the 3 listed.

The Simpson get the nod because of the show's long history and the fact that I don't think anything will ever surpass the quality of the episodes in the 2nd-7th seasons.

However, if you only consider what has been done in the last 6-7 years...essentially since Family Guy first came out, it has been the better show.

Family Guy and Futurama were before their times...they are amazing cartoons. Simpsons is quality, but needs to let it go.

It has more intricate plot and more characters than the Simpsons.

Simpsons is quality, but needs to let it go.

Probably isn't going to happen withing the next few years. They're making a movie right now and I think they've already agreed to do the show for about 3 more years.
