Fantasy Football, the Trey - for 2011

Woke up in a football frame of mind so I'm heading to the HOF and I created a fantasy league. I'm posting this information on the BP 2009 fantasy baseball league message board, too (I'm commish of that one).

If there's enough interest, it can be expanded. I just set one up quickly and will revisit the settings this weekend.

Love the HOF. Hadn't been there for awhile. They're working on a new room to open this fall so they gave me a free pass good during the season.

Yahoo is offering a divisional format as an option this year. I created two of them and used the naming feature. Yahoo randomly assigned teams to both of them but I can move teams to certain divisions, if desired.

We can scrap the divisions and run it the old way, but I thought it might be fun to see who could win the Jim Tressel Division and Woody Hayes Division.

i'm in...why is the draft so late?

The draft is 3 days before the season begins - why would it need to be earlier? I like having the rosters set at draft time and felt lucky to get a draft then. We should all be experts by that date.

Our 12 team league filled up in less than two days in mid-July. Awesome.

Did a draft the other day and noticed Yahoo added a few twists this year. I figured, what the hell, let's add one or two to this league while we're still 3 weeks away from the draft.

If you pre-ranked already you're hardcore, and you might want to stop in and see if the changes mean anything to your draft strategy. Scoring was NOT changed; just added some flexibility to a couple of roster positions.
