Looks like we lost a player so there is now a spot available. Draft is Monday, September 7th at 8:15 ET.

Looks like my undefeated run will come to an end in week 7 at the hands of Dryden's Mean Machine. Pretty good record considering I missed the draft. Pretty good league so far though, I do like the playing with Defensive players, more points=more interest=more excuses to watch more football. Great idea Jake... :cheers:

Actually, that's four teams at 7-5... and two of them are playing each other.

My team (Brandon Ave. Bombers) and Najeh have pretty good matchups this week, and I feel pretty good being second in total points among the four 7-5 teams. This four-week win streak couldn't have come at a better time.

We were really lucky last week to be playing the last place team. Whoever that is - I don't think they've touched their lineup all year. They didn't even have a QB in - and it turns out I didn't either after Kurt Warner's gameday scratch. If I'd had somebody playing I might've actually been leading the 7-5 teams in points. It doesn't look like it'll come down to that, but if it does I hope I'm not on the wrong end of it.

Thanks to Tom Brady, Miles Austin, Robert Meachem and Beanie freakin Wells it didn't matter. Chic's Harleys bring home the title. :banger:

First time league and it went well. Hope you guys all play again next year. :)

Thanks for this league - it was fun to use defensive players.

I let my fiancee "co-run" this team with me, and agreed to run any roster moves past her so she could learn how to play fantasy football. I missed out on a lot of roster moves because of that - so I don't think 3rd place was all that bad.

We may not be "The A League" or "The Deuce" (cough*bullshit*cough) but we had a very good league so I've set us up again for 2010.

Details will be posted as the season approaches, and first preference will be given to those who lowered themselves to play in our league last year. :wink2:
