I'm only carrying one QB at this time because there are several mediocre QBs I can plug n play when needed. But I'm not sold on Cam Newton's stability and Vick could give me an elite talent. I'd still be solid at WR (Colston is on Waivers, some other good backups).

I'm cool with dumping DeSean Jackson because I also Maclin (autodraft....) The guy is in last place and is desperate for WRs. I was planning on holding onto CJ2k, but I'm also deep at RB and will try to work another trade with some of my backups (some teams very thin at RB due to injuries)

I wouldn't trade for Vick....he's 1 hit away from being on the bench for a couple of games... In my league Jackson & Forte are tearin it up .... I would try to someone other than Vick

Thx for the response, I countered the trade:
DeSean and Nate Washington for Vick. I don't need the RBs and I'd rather hold onto CJ2K. I don't think that trade will go through, but I'm not in a desperate situation like he is.

The only other QB I could trade for that would be worth it in this league is Flacco, and he belongs to the 1st place team. I don't want to make him any stronger. (I'm 3rd). The other guy I tried to trade for his backup, Stafford, but he's not making any moves at all.

who are the free agent QB's in your league... with only 8 teams.. there has to be quite a few.

If you are getting Vick, Matthews, and Beanie it's a no brainer IMO. I hate Desean Jackson in Fantasy because he's so inconsistent. Mathews is a stud and you are giving up nothing to get Vick.

I'd call trade rape if it were our league

Dirty sanchez isnt that bad.. .they throw alot .... look at the matchups this week....

SAnchez vs Ravens .... ravens will stuff the run
Cutler vs Panthers - Gamble is likely out... they will throw a ton...
Grossman vs Rams - Rams D is a sieve

i'd take one of those guys for a week or two before trading 2 good receivers ....

Vick is too big an injury risk... maybe take that trade then pickup a QB from the heap.... but then you have a ton of good RBs and limited options at receiver .. .again depends on how your league scores it.... in ours ... the team mascot taking a piss at half time gets your points.

Vick (historically) is about the same injury risk or better than Rodgers, Stafford, or Big Ben.

It all depends on how good the players in your league are too. If you play in a league where people check their players status once a week, play it safe and dont gamble. If you are playing in a league where there is action on Tuesday afternoon, you'll have to take a risk to win it.

The only two times I've faced Vick he's been knocked out of the game for some reason or another...not really enamored by him in FFB anymore because of his injury prone-ness

Boldin vs. NYJ
Brandon Jacobs vs. ARI
Denarius Moore vs. NE

TE- Jermaine Gresham, Jeremy Shockey
D- New York Giants
K- Mason Crosby

I obviously need WR help, but am worried about giving up 2 RBs. We start QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, RB/WR, TE, D, K. Should I accept the trade?

Edit: I accepted it lol. Josh, your advice better not be payback for my CFB fantasy advice :lol:

Thats tough.

Johnson had a HUGE week last go around and its a double point threat every matchup.


I love me some Frank Gore, but his injury history could spell doom at any second. However he'll obviously get tons of carries due to SF's QB situation.
I wouldn't use Jay Culter in any league. INT's hurt.

On the flip side. Johnson could have a great 2nd half of the season. Daniel Thomas might be the feature back over Bush soon & Devery Henderson is the Saints deep threat.


I wouldn't do it if I were you.

Id do this and pick up Kendall hunter Thomas is banged up, Saints WR's are like a lottery pick. CJ is gonna be out of the top ten this year.

Who's starting Brandon Lloyd this week? I have Greg Jennings, who's an obvious starter, David Nelson, Brandon Lloyd, and Nate Washington. Who should I start in my 2 other(besides Greg Jennings) WR spots?
