Fantasy Football Advice

Anyone else have Arian Foster with no Tate handcuff? I do and it sucks. I'm stuck starting DeAngelo Williams this week.

I do. I also have Steven Jackson on that same team. Fortunately, it's Jake's league which is PPR and has individual defensive players, so RBs are de-emphasized.

I managed to go 3-0 last week, and had the highest scoring team for the week in two of those leagues, all while I had at least one player on each team who scored zero points (Brandon Lloyd, Plaxico Burress and Antonio Gates, respectively.)

Brandon Lloyd

I picked up David Nelson from Buffalo to offset his injury. We'll see if Lloyd plays this week, but most people are focusing on Eric Decker but his fantasy stardom wont last long. I'm hoping Nelson steps up with Roscoe Parrish and Marcus Easley out for the season and Stevie Johnson consistently listed as probable. I thought Brandon Gibson from St. Louis was going to see more targets, but that role belongs to Mike Sims-Walker.

I also picked up Devery Henderson last week, because Marques Colston is out til the 5th game. I'm interested to see if the re-appearance of Lance Moore will take targets away from Henderson, but from what I saw against St. Louis Moore didn't do much.

I picked up Roy Helu from Washington because I don't have a 3rd RB. I'm hoping his 6.7 ypc take over Hightowers 3.7ypc, or at least running back by committee.

I have Detroit's Defense and I'm not too sure if I can grab maybe Dallas's D for the weekend because I don't know how Detroits going to do against AP & Minnesota. Maybe Cincy? (I have AP, and don't know how i feel countering my points.)

I'm a bit unsettled about the Llyod situation. Contrary to my better instincts I grabbed Jerome Simpson.

San Fran's pass defense sucks, and AJ is still getting all the attention.

I would try starting Denarius Moore but I have a feeling its going to be a long day against Cro & Revis.

I have little choice on Lloyd. It's play-n-pray for me. I have him on the same team that has Foster, Jackson, and oh yeah - Marques Colston too.

For now I have Jackson and Lloyd in my lineup for this week. If I need to, I can swap one or both of them out for Davone Bess and/or Brandon Jacobs. That's the very end of my bench.

Jeez, those are scary options. How many teams do you have in your league? How many bench slots?

I'm in a 12 team league with 4 bench slots, so everyone is consistently using the waiver wire/trades/add/drops. Leaves a lot of good players out there, but leaves you fighting for them.

Rotoworld indicated that Lloyd is likely to start against the Titans, but who knows how effective he will be and they still have him listed as questionable. I still don't know who I'm going to start.

Jake's league is only 10 teams, but there is an extra flex position. I have five bench spots, but I'm carrying a couple extra individual defensive players, so other teams may have as many as 7 offensive players on their bench.

It's looking like a short-term problem at the moment, so I'm not hitting the panic button. Brandon Jacobs is far and away better than any free agent RB option, and at the moment I'm comfortable with Bess in a favorable matchup against CLE if it comes down to that.

FWIW, I feel about 90% certain that Lloyd will play this week, and about 50% on Jackson. I do have Jackson cuffed with Cadillac Williams, but he was a non-factor last week and with Jacobs around there'd be no sense in playing him in Jackson's absence the Rams going up against Baltimore.

Drew Brees/C. Daniels
Javid Best/L. McCoy/P. Hillis
St. Johnson
O. Daniels/F. Davis
Jets D/ST

I'm killing right now.

Bench

K. Orton
T. Tebow
R. Brown RB
M. Hardesty
K. Hunter
P. Burress
J. Gaffney
B. LaFell
M. Crabtree
S. Chandler

Saints
Bills

What should i put on the Trading block ? My need is obvious at WR. Should I get M. Morris to handcuff Best ?

We can start only 3 RB's have to have one of each. can do up to 4 WR. PPR for everyone. My scoring is like no other/ we use actual BUQB's. I had 324 last week. 1 pt for every 5 yards for everyone. My D/ST got me 71

10 man team, our waiver wire is fairly bare. Got F Davis, S Chandler, J Gaffeny, B LaFell and B hartline from it.

Anything you guys see let me know. Thanks

Well, Jerome Simpson is in deep shit.

Who in god's name knows about Brandon Lloyd. Looks like Denarius Moore is getting the nod against the J-E-T-S.

Doesn't look good, but its either that or Eric Decker. With how short handed the Donkeys are, that kid might even see some double teams

Who would you guys start today M. Schaub or M Stafford? I think Schaub might get in a shootout with NO, but I like Stafford as the better QB.

I like Stafford. When he's played the last two years he's been up over 30 pts in all but one game which makes him top 5. Schaub on the other hand hasn't been special the last two years. He's still living off of reputation from 3 years ago

NO gets Will Smith back - overall has a bit more active defense. Plus Houston looks to be without Foster. Putting more emphasis on getting to Shaub and highlighting Daniels/Johnson.

Minnesota doesn't have the ability to match up with Megatron or a LB who's able to track Jahvid Best consistently.

I go with Stafford.

Anyone going to go with Hardesty today?

Was able to grab him as soon as Hillis was said to be out.

Depends on who your other RB's are but I think he's top 20.

Question: Pick three of Jordy Nelson, Nate Burelson, Nate Washington, and Dwayne Bowe. I've had some injuries hit pretty hard at wr.
