12 member league. PPC & PPR

QBs (start 1)- Tom Brady, Andy Dalton
RBs (start 2)- Jamaal Charles, Darren McFadden, Jonathan Stewart, Cedric Benson, Isaiah Pead
WRs (start 2)- Percy Harvin, Dwayne Bowe, Malcolm Floyd, Darrius Heyward-Bey, Rueben Randle
TEs (start 1)- Brandon Pettigrew, Kellen Winslow
D- San Fran
K- Matt Bryant

Also start one flex player (can be RB, WR or TE).

Thoughts? (I had the #3 pick; snake draft)
So you passed on Shady, Foster, or Rice and picked up either Charles or DMC? And then got the other one late in 2nd round?

Rodgers went #1, Rice #2 & I took Brady #3. With it being a PPC league, I thought I'd get a hell of a lot more points from a top QB, than a top RB. I drafted Charles in Round 2 & DMC Round 3.

Sounds like you let some pretty good pass-catching RBs go by. Those are the scarcest commodity in PPR leagues. Foster, Rice & McCoy probably should have been the first three guys off the board.

If it wasn't a PPC league as well (PPC & PPR), then I would've went with Foster. But considering Brady is projected to get 500 more points than Foster on the year, I think I'll be ok lol.

Just got my first draft of the season in, 12 team league: Extra points for long TD passes, runs, and 400 yards passing, 200 yards rushing. Not PPR.
1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 Flex (TE/WR/RB), K, D/ST

Overall pretty happy with the draft, how strong do you think this is?
QB: Matt Ryan, Carson Palmer
RB: LeSean McCoy, Matt Forte, Doug Martin, Toby Gerhart, Ryan Williams
WR: Dez Bryant, Percy Harvin, Denarius Moore, Justin Blackmon, Greg Little, Randall Cobb
TE: Jimmy Graham
K: Matt Bryant, ATL
D/ST: Detroit

My WRs are weak, they went much faster off the board than I anticipated. So I loaded up on RB a little in anticipation of a future trade (some of the other teams have crap for rushing). Going to play off the waiver wire for defensive matchups.

Did a mock draft today and got Brees with the 7th pick, and Maurice Jones-Drew with the 2nd round pick (5th in the round, I think)... If I end up with something like that on draft day, I'm going to be pretty pumped.

Reception Yards: 10 ypp

I somewhat agree with the taking the best running back because of the drop off in RB talent. BUT, with a pt for every 20 yds passing, I might take one of the dominant QB's such as Rodgers. Either way, Rice, Foster or Rodgers, you get a great pick.

You'd be surprised who you can pick up with the drafting trends of everyone else. I ended up with Eli Manning, Phillip Rivers, and Andrew Luck and I think Manning was picked around the 5th or 6th round. I went top RB's and top WR's WITHOUT problems, shitty qb's, locker room drama, etc. Couldn't be happier with how the draft went.
