You still have some solid pieces. Cousins has lots of weapons. Thomas is a great start at WR. Bell and Howard are a nice combo (I’m high on Howard this year.) Kelce at TE. The draft is pretty important but nobody wins from the draft alone. A big part is what you do after. Keep the core and improve around it.

To expand on this, I have a draft I feel the same way. I picked third (where I didn’t want to be) and had Gurley fall to me. WR is trash, though.

I like where I stand pretty much anywhere else. I just have to upgrade WR somehow through the year. Not feeling great about it now, though.

I’m biased (took Conner in 3 leagues) but I say yes. The Rooney’s might not feel like dealing with that mess and let him go. Not to mention he can wait until week 10 to show and still get his accrued season. Add to that his agent’s comments on them being afraid the Steelers are going to use up Bell since he’s gone next year. I’m sure it’s not as bad as I’d like it to be but there is definitely cause for concern. I had two drafts where I was top 3. I passed on Bell when I drafted second and was fortunate that he went #1 in the other so I could get Gurley at #3. I wanted absolutely no part of Bell this season.

Goff, Hyde & Crowder for Gordon & Agholor

My initial thought is to decline. My only hope is that Wentz is ready soon lol. Thoughts?

Decline. I like getting the best players in a deal. For this, there’s (Melvin?) Gordon, and then there’s everyone else. You can find a QB for a week or two. You can probably find a Hyde or Crowder. Your aren’t likely to find a Gordon. People will try to capitalize on your “desperation” if they can. They see you need a QB but you didn’t lose Wentz for the season. What do you do when he comes back and Gordon is gone? He isn’t even wanting a QB in return. That speaks to how much he values Goff.
