I think I've said it before....the people who I draft with in my work league (the only one I pay money to get in) are not the brightest. Here's the first round:

1. David Johnson
2. Christian McCaffery (this guy is a huge homer...more on that later)
3. Lev Bell
4. Antonio Brown
5. Zeke
6. Kirk Cousins

At this point you're thinking.....yep, there's the worst pick in the entire draft. I was thinking it, too. And then this happened.

7. Darren McFadden (a girl owner, and Cowboys homer)
8. Julio Jones
9. Tom Brady

So I picked 10th. All the mocks I did gave me people like Jordy Nelson, AJ Green, Melvin Gordon, Mike Evans if I was lucky. I think my brain stopped working when I saw all my choices.

10. OBJ
11. Aaron Rodgers
12. Lesean McCoy

The other highlight of the night was Thomas Rawls in the 3rd by the same girl who took McFadden. There were so many more, but looking back at the full draft, it's hard to pick them all out.

The battle of the homers came down to the lone Ravens fan taking 4 vs the Panthers fan who also took 4. The Panthers fan wins though, because he used to be a Bills fan until he moved to North Carolina the year after they lost the SB. He jumped onto their bandwagon full force, but he also took Sammy Watkins, Mike Gillislee, Zay Jones, and Robert Woods......so 8 picks if you count players from his old team.

I'm high on Wilson, Gurley, Thomas, Coleman, Stafford.
I'm low on Marshawn, Diggs, Bennett, White, Brate
I'm undecided on Dez

I'm also not in the right mind to judge a team after that draft I just went through. I couldn't keep up with how stupid these picks were.

I feel fairly good about my draft... good mix of upper tier players... with a whole lot of who the hell knows thrown in.

Your's dont look that bad.. but this is coming from a guy who's overall record in Fantasy is
Lifetime Record: 48-74-0
Lifetime Winning %: .393

Doesn't look bad outside of Lynch being your #2 RB and not much else behind that. This is coming from a guy whose overall record in fantasy is...

Lifetime Record: 105-60-1
Lifetime Winning %: .636

All the above numbers really mean is I don't know any more than anyone else.

I had a draft really get out of hand last night. Standard format so RB has increased value from where they relate in PPR formats. I don't see a very big upper-tier of RB this year or even a very attractive middle-tier. I went RB in the early going and then each time I came around to choosing a WR I felt was worth the pick, someone else would nab him every time. Lost out on guys like Keenan Allen and Tyreke Hill right before my pick. I'm not big on drafting a position just because I need that position. If I still need TE and it's rd 7 and all of Gronk, Kelce, Olson etc...are gone, I might as well wait and get a guy who has value rather than choosing Mr. Dime-a-Dozen TE while the next guy after me grabs the next Allen Robinson from 2 years ago. So here it is. Started out well but my WR corp is a puke-fest. Yahoo gave me a B+. Yahoo is high on bath salts.

QB Brees
WR Martavis Bryant
WR Stefon Diggs
WR Chris Hogan (that's right my #3 starting WR)
RB Melvin Gordon
RB Demarco Murray
TE Jimmy Graham
Flex Ty Montgomery
Other Flex Who the Hell knows?

Bench:
Derrick Henry
Jordan Matthews
Corey Davis
Alvin Kamara
Samaje Perine
Matthew Stafford

Edit: I should say I was pick 7 out of 10

The guy I played is the one who snaked Hunt, Fitz, R Wilson, and the Steelers D 2 spots ahead of me each time. I had DJ. I still outscored everybody in the league except........the guy with Hunt, Fitz, Wilson, and the Steelers D. Because it's Season 3 of the TV Show called BN27's Fantasy Football Misadventures.

Non PPR league RB question. i have 2 RB slots and 1 flex slot (probably running Golden Tate in that spot though)

Ty Montgomery at Atlanta (def starting him)

Carlos Hyde at Seattle (???)
Rob Kelley at LA Rams (???)
Jonathan Stewart vs Buffalo (???)
Chris Carson vs San Fran (Thomas Rawls supposed to be back)
