Had a draft over the holiday weekend, my final one before the season starts.

I got 3rd overall. I feel I'm strong at RB, pretty solid at WR and TE. However I went to go get my QB (Stafford) I was one pick away - naturally the guy in front of me takes him.
Plot twist; the guy that took him already has Rodgers. So I message this guy "what will it take to get Stafford off your hands". His response verbatim...

"Not gonna happen, I've had dreams of Stafford backing up Rodgers for 2 weeks now".

What in the actual fuck?!? What sick person does this?!? So now I'm relying on Sam Bradford going all RG3 for one year just to stay afloat at QB.

Ben tonight with a defense that couldn't stop a nose bleed - or- Stafford against San Diego's dumpster fire defense?


At first I thought Stafford, then realized if they're ahead the Lions will run the ball quite a bit in the second half. I fully expect Ben to have to throw all night.

Input from anyone ?

First league a 10 team redraft league. 1 qb, 2 rb, 3 wr, 1 te, 1 k, 1 Def

QB: going with Matt Ryan over Eli Manning
RB: going with Jamaal Charles and Lamar Miller over Carlos Hyde and Alfred Blue
WR: going with Demaryious Thomas, Golden Tate, Brandin Cooks over John Brown, Marcus Wheaton, and Nelson Agholor
TE: going with Jason Witten as my only other choice Antonio Gates is suspended
K: going with Brandon McManus over Robbie Gould
D: going with the Dolphins vs the Skins over taking the Falcons D

Second league. 14 team keeper league. 1 qb, 1 rb, 2 wr, 1 flex, 1 k

QB: going with Russell Wilson over Phillip Rivers, Brian Hoyer, and Jameis Winston. My gut is telling me Rivers though. I love having 4 starting QB's on my roster in a 14 team keeper league. Wouldn't mind trading Rivers or Hoyer when someone gets desperate due to injury later in the season.
RB: going with Eddie Lacy over Lesean McCoy. No brainer.
WR: another no brainer, going with AJ Green and Odell Beckham Jr.
Flex: here is my toughest call outside of maybe QB. Going with McCoy over Larry Fitzgerald and Pierre Garcon and a bunch of scrubs that I inherited
K: another tough one. Phil Dawson of the low scoring 49ers or Graham Gano of the low scoring Panthers. Went with Gano.


Any last minute advice, tweaks, or comments appreciated.

I think Ben is a plug and forget QB until he proves otherwise.

Can I drop WR Reuben Randle for one of these two?

WR Dontre Moncrief - will be a stud for a month until Hilton gets back, may become just ok after that.
TE Darren Fells - upside but how risky?

RB Hyde
RB Hill
WR Landry
WR Garcon
WR Maclin
TE Ertz
W/T V.Jackson
W/R/T Ertz

Bench: Rivers, Bridgewater, Bell, D.Jackson, Agholor

No, there aren't any backs worth grabbing, despite my need for them.

I gotta trade for an RB with Ellington go out.....

Got a guy who has Bell & Charles but jack squat for WRs ... I have Brown/Green/Allen.... would it be worth trying to entice a trade say, Brown for Bell or Brown for Charles? or maybe one of the others
