So that makes my pending-in-my-own-head trade offer of Victor Cruz for Giovani Bernard even bigger. If the Giants are going to throw until Eli's arm comes off, I don't know if I want to lose that for a guy who.....let's just be honest.....plays professional sports in the state of Ohio.

I guess you can look at the Giants passing game in the sense of mud-slinging. Statistically, somebody is bound to catch some of the passes being thrown.

Exactly. I still know Eli sucks, but the Lions have always sucked and Calvin Johnson is a monster.

The guy that has Gio has an entire bench of RBs, so I figure he's desperate to add some WR depth. I'm now looking at having to replace Ellington. I just don't know if Bernard is worth it, and I'm sure he's not going to give up Marshawn Lynch or Arian Foster.

Foster will invariably get hurt again...he always seems to. I think Bernard will have a big year, I would make that swap if I had Cruz. RBs are harder to find than WRs, as there seem to be a revelation or 4 out there during the course of a year (think Keenan Allen last year).

The only reservation I have with that has been the play of Jeremy Hill. He's going to get a ton of redzone and goal line work. Be cautious.

My question may have gotten lost in the shuffle of the Dwyer news. Thoughts?

Fill a FLEX position with

Jones-Drew vs Jets
Shonn Green vs Chiefs
Riley Cooper vs Jags
Ladarius Green vs Cards

I already have Ertz starting so that could take points away from Cooper if I started both.

I picked up Dwyer. Is he a better FLEX option now?

I really liked Dwyer in Pittsburgh...I don't know what happened there. If they come out and say he'll be getting the bulk of Ellington's carries I would strongly consider him. Otherwise, I'd personally go with Cooper. Nick Foles loves him some Riley Cooper.

I agree with 27 except that with the Eagles as they are now you don't know what players are going to have what roles...how many targets will Maclin get? Will they use Ertz more? How many touches does Sproles take away? Green and JD are starting this week...I would probably go with Dwyer or Greene, those teams will run the ball a lot.

Dwyer would be my bet. That Chargers defensive front is butter soft. Although Shonn has looked pretty decent in the pre-season, that Chiefs front is much better than San Diego's.

edit: I've already received some offers about Lacy. I'll post them up here when I've sorted through them.

I actually found someone to mull this over. Lacy & Edleman for Jamaal Charles. Normally I wouldn't give up a receiver with 105 catches, but this isn't a PPR league and I have Alshon, Brown and Terrance Williams sitting and waiting.
