Im Gonna Run This Off My Computer, Possibly Post The Stats/Results On A Website I Make Or Just Make A Thread On Here To Do It In

Im Looking For The Draft To Be Somewhere Between August 20-27 but we will decide that after I get a full league

Im Looking For At Least 10 Teams 12 At Max

Rosters

The roster will consist of 18 members. Starting, you'll have QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, 2 UTIL, K, Defense . The 2 UTILs will be a RB/WR/TE, not a QB. You will have 8 bench players of your choosing. The roster will come from players on all 119 teams.

Id like this to be a keeper league, so you will be able to redshirt 2 players per year and add players to replace them, however once you redshirt a player you can not remove that redshirt


Draft
The draft will be held on the message board or in a conference on a instant messsanger service. It will, of course, be 18 rounds long. Majority will rule on the time and date.

Roster Submissions/Updates
A given game-week is from Wednesday to Tuesday. Rosters Must Be Submitted Before Your First Starting Players Game

Scoring System

Passing:
Completeion = 1 Point
50 Yards = 1 Point
Touchdown = 6 Points
Inteception = -3 Points

Rushing (Applies To QB's And WR's As Well)
20 Yards = 1 Point
Touchdown = 6 Points
Fumble = -2 Points

Recieveing (Applies To HB's As Well)
Reception = 1 Point
20 Yards = 1 Point
Touchdown = 6 Points

Defense
0 Points Allowed = 25 Points
1-6 Points Allowed = 20 Points
7-13 Points Allowed = 15 Points
14-20 Points Allowed = 10 Points
21-27 Points Allowed = 5 Points
28-34 Points Allowed = 0 Points
35+ Points Allowed = -5 Points
Interception = 3 Points
Fumble Recovery = 2 Points
Sack = 2 Points
Saftey = 5 Points
Touchdown = 6 Points
Blocked Kick = 10 Points

Kick/Punt Returning
To Keep It Simple Only Kick Return Touchdowns Will Count, 6 Points Per Touchdown

Kicking
Field Goals 0-19 Yards = 2 Points
Field Goals 20-29 Yards = 4 Points
Field Goals 30-39 Yards = 6 Points
Field Goals 40-49 Yards = 8 Points
Field Goals 50+ Yards = 10 Points
Extra Point = 1 Point

Just a suggestion, really look into firming up rosters and changes. Ie, are add/drops allowed? Define the redshirt option (or is this a way to really have 20 players on your team?)

And just a warning. I would REALLY try to firm up the draft time/date. As you can see from the current BP College Fantasy Draft we do it through the message board and one round takes a little more than a day. So if you want to try to get this done in one shot, the best way is to figure out the time of the draft NOW, so when people sign up they know what to expect. Because if you wait til everyone is in, it might be difficult to figure out a time that will make everyone happy.

any idea on when a good draft time would be?

id really like to do it like on AIM or YIM when everyone is online at once (or most of the people) so it gets done in a couple of hours

add/drops are allowed and so are trades

the redshirt option is basically like if you want to draft a freshman or someone who probably wont play this year you can redshit them (you cant un-redshirt them though) you can redshirt up to 2 so if you redshirt 2 players you can add 2 players to replace them, so yes you could have 20 players but only 18 would be eligible

I'm thinking that Sunday morning, afternoon in Ohio, might be best for me since I work most Saturday's without an internet connection. August 25th I am not working though. If we can make it August 25th or 26th I'll definitely be able to work the schedule out.

Also, you may have to make the draft two parts such as two afternoons since there are so many players to choose from and so many roster spots, especially if you get 10-12 teams. Just a suggestion though.

25th or the 26th sounds good

we can figure out a good time for everyone when the league is full, if someone cant make it as stated before we will draft fairly for them
