Nothing too ritualistic.

My computer at school switches to OSU colors in the fall, with an OSU football or OSUMB background... not to mention the OSU slideshow screen saver. Same for my PDA and cell phone. Le Reg is my ringtone. I wear scarlet and gray to school each friday.

Did I mention I go to Diet scUM (just one calorie--not scummy enough)?

Every week end i fly my 2 banners on each side of the garage. one for Younstown State and the other for Ohio State and in the middle I hang my N/C 2002 championship flag in the middle. And on michigan week of saturday morning I CRANK UP my CD of "A TOUCH OF BRASS'' until 1230 or so.

I've got a home and away Jersey. Wear which ever is appropriate. Hang the Block O flag first thing Saturday morning. Have a particular tie suit combo that I wear on Friday. Read every dispatch article. (Much more difficult than it sounds, since I only get the weekend Disp.)

Smoke cigarettes while we are on O, but not D. Unless that doesn't work. Then I switch.

I once had a buddy who's dad insisted his wife stay in the shitter for 3 Q's because OSU scored while she was in there.. I'm not nearly that bad.

Friday before the game I wear my football jersey, OSU hat and Buckeye necklace to work, dress my daughters in S&G for school and adorn my car with the window flags and magnets, if I haven't already.

For away games, send my oldest daughter out to play or to her room to play on her PC so she doesn't hear daddy's foul mouth. Make chili, clear out all of that worthless stuff in the fridge, like food, and load it with Michelob Amber Bock and Grolsch. Flip on the 54" widescreen turn off the sound and turn up 1460 on the stereo.

Put up "Do Not Disturb" signs on the den door, place foam "Bad Call Brick" on end table so I have something to throw at the refs and settle in for the bumpy ride.

On all home games we go to:
tion.
11.) Stop at Steak and Shake in Mansfield.

It's the same order every single week, unless I take my wife, in which case we skip #11. :wink2:
Your wife have something against Steak & Shake?

I don't have any rituals, but my mom takes all of her OSU bobbleheads to Eagles and watches the game there until half time, when she and my dad come home to finish the game...I have no idea why they leave at half time, it's kind of strange to me...

I might start a pre-game cookout, since I live within walking distance of the shoe and can gather up my buddies pretty easily, although I tend not to like talking to people when I am watching the games unless it is my brother...it seems most people I know don't know a damned thing about the game of football

I wear my OSU polo (early games) and my OSU sweatshirt (later games) to work on Friday. The first thing I do on Sat is put out my OSU Alumni Flag. My ritual is to put the "Buckeye Battle Cry" on my stereo on LOUD. My children and I march around with the flag with the drum cadence until the band starts. We then hang the flag out on the porch.
