That was our "championship" game that season. I just wish Illinois had won the title game against UNC making us the only team to knock off the champs that season.

Oh well, still a great memory from the Schott. :)

I was in the student section that day and needless to say it was the best basketball game I ever attended.

The craziest part was the court rush at the end. People didn't even go to the aisle to rush the court... just a totally spontaneous surge straight down. The folding student chairs were all flattened like an avalanche had hit them afterwards.

It is something I will never forget.
