F Mark Minor (Boston Celtics)

I'm new to this forum and I write a column for Celticslife about some of the more obscure former Celtics, and what they're up to today. Here's what a recent article looks like:

One guy I've had no luck tracking down is Mark Minor. I know all about the brawl in college with Minnesota and actually have located some articles about his time with the Celtics and when he was drafted. But nothing on what he's up to today.

I thoroughly searched all the OSU Alumni threads and didn't see any with his name in the title, which I'd find strange considering he was a pro athlete and went to OSU. I believe I also searched all of the forums and still didn't see him. Here's his basketball reference page:

Anyone have any info on his whereabouts? It'd be greatly appreciated, thanks!

You might try calling the Ohio State basketball office or the Ohio State Alumni Association. You also might try contacting Bob Baptist on twitter who is the basketball writer for the Columbus Dispatch. One other person who might know about Minor is Jeff Rapp who has his own website. Another Ohio State basketball historian is Lee Caryer who used to write for Bucknuts. I do not know if he is still over there or not and I have lost his email. Good luck in your search.

Also if anyone has any details on his career at OSU- what type of player Mark was, his strengths and weaknesses, feel free to add it here. He was a bit before my time and I didn't have the chance to see him play, so I want to make sure it's as accurate a description of him as possible.

I saw him play but that was a long time. You really should go over to the following site http://ohiostate.247sports.com/ and ask one oft he administrators to put you in contact with Lee Caryer. He is truly a basketball historian for Ohio State basketball. I had his personal email account at one time but I no longer have it. Maybe you should try contacting Luke Witte, Dave Merchant, Alan Hornyak or one of the other guys Mark played with. They had a captains reunion last year and a lot of those guys were there. I would contact the OSU basketball office if you cannot get a hold of Lee.
