Sorry I Have To Rant For A Minute.

I know what you mean!! I have been working on a RFP for a client and have been subject to countless rewrites, but this latest one takes the cake. There is now a question why my firm has added the word please in the questioning. Items such as Please describe or Please complete the following are being questioned. Some of the the client personnel are asking why we are asking them nicely. Don't they fu&2ing realize it is not the tone of the question that really matters but the darn blasted answer from the vendor that matters. No wonder some American businesses are going down the tubes, as the client is paying my firm over $800/hr. to discuss the virtues of being polite. I guess some people have to show everybody "who the boss is" and civility is out the window.

i was fishing with one of my buddies one time, and all the sudden he leaned over the side of the boat and grabbed about a 40 pound snapper, and DROPPED IT IN THE BOAT... that was a sticky situation...

i caught a 20 pound snapper in the creek behind my house when i was a kid...
