He was a Sonic great
I remember well watching him, in great Sonic performances and awful ones. My parents had season tickets back in '77 to '80. Dennis was part of perhaps the best trio of guards the Sonics have ever had (for those of you not in the know, the other two were "Downtown" Freddie Brown, and Gus Williams aka "The Wizard"). Unfortunately perhaps his most famous, or infamous performance, was his 0-14 outing against the Washington Bullets in Game 7 of the 1978 NBA Finals. But if memory serves he more than made up for it in the 1979 Finals when the Sonics beat the Bullets 4-1, to win as yet, their only NBA Title.
