Why do you feel the need to provoke Ohio State fans to the point that they react in anger and call you names in return? What drives the need for attention and rebuke? What unfinished business really motivates your behavior? What are you going to do to move past this and get on with your life? What makes you feel that this is the appropriate place to deal with it?
Eliciting the sort of response that you just gave him grants him a level of satisfaction that few other things rival, I imagine. See, this is a game for him, provoking people. He pokes, you hiss, he laughs. I know this because I share the exact same zest for pissing people off. What separates me from Tibor?
(a) I try a little harder to bring people around to my side of the argument by tempering my comments gradually enough to allow for careful rewording (read: backpedaling), because making people retract
their scathing remarks is a big part of the game for me.
(b) I'm an administrator.
(c) I'm Clarity's brother.
It's unfortunate that Tibs has the reputation he does, because he really is an intelligent, insightful poster and has a lot of good shit to say. Bottom line is that without people like Tibor, you've got a whole lot less to talk about. That said, I submit the following limerick in tribute to the house doctorb.
There once was a man named Tibor,
Who murdered his favorite whore.
While dumping the body,
He sang, "Lah-dee, dah-dee!"
Then happily rowed back to shore.
