I actually did win a couple of beer chugging contests in bars several years back.

And the high school quiz team I was on finished second in the city.

One time I did win a beer chugging contest at the leipzig Haus (Near Capital U)

I won a beer stein and 2 tickets to see Filter, a show which was cancelled because the singer checked into drug rehab a week before they were supposed to be in Columbus...

I remember they cancelled some shows back in spring 95 for some reason or another. They were supposed to play at Buzzardfest then with Bush and some other bands (I just looked it up and the Ramones, and Our Lady Peace were there as well). Man I wish I had gone to that show with my buddies. :sad:
Add that to the list of things I would do differently if I could go back and start HS over again knowing what I know now. Oh there's my brilliant thread idea for the day.

Yeah, this particular show was on the Amalgamut tour (Which was an awesome album, by the way)

Never seen Filter, have always wanted to though...

The show you are talking about would have been awesome as well, seeing the Ramones would be something to tell your grandchildren.
