Yep... roughly $18k (for three airline tickets) was purchased from Japan (never been there) on one of my credit cards... took the credit card company six months to finally dump it from my account. pita big time...

This happened in '04 maybe '05

I check my accounts every night and balance it against anything the wife or I had bought that day. About two months ago caught someone who was trying to order a bunch of car paint supplies from some place in new orleans. Since it was still pending and we were both in Columbus at the time a quick call got the whole thing taken care of.
