the only official clock is on the refs watch. he stops it occasionaly for injuries and other delays. after the 45/90 minute mark he tells how much time he shows on his watch. its usually less than 3 or 4 minutes.

Boring has always been the word to describe Soccer, THat's why I am not a fan. I would rather watch girls middle high school basketball (Choke, gag)

I called it, and I called it well. Germany came out firing but flattened out more as the game went on. On the other hand, Spain pushed forward the whole game, and that's why they came out with a victory. Germany is lucky to come out of this game with a 1-0 defeat.

Congrats Spain on the Championship, and Congrats Germany for a good run!

This game was slow. Like I said, Michael Ballack needed a good game and didn't have one. Germany was weak through the midfield and had a terrible time with Spain's back four.

Spain was running around the German defense like I thought they would, and captilized when they needed.

I was hoping for much better football than this, but sometimes when the teams are that good games like this happen.

Thank You Espana for winning me 9 whole vbucks. Hell yeah.

It was a little disappointing to see the Germans look completely flat in a big final! Ballack & co. did not gel at all in midfield.....maybe that injury had something to do with it. Spain on the other hand played with an attacking mindset. Honestly, I am happy that a major final ended in regulation. I am sick and tired of championships being decided in penalties.

All in all, it was a fun tournament, and I am happy to see Spain win something after all these years. However, I feel for Ballack.....the guy hasn't won anything noteworthy in his entire career. Hopefully he will have some luck 2 years from now at the world cup.
