ESPN's credibility continues to grow

The bottom line is that ESPN suffers from what every entertainment monopoly suffers from...not having to care about their product. As long as they have the games, people are going to watch, no matter how ill-informed, bitter, crappy, stupid, asenine, asswadian, [censored]stickian, dickboxian, [censored]towelian, and MarkMayian most of their their worthless people are that work for them. Now that it's ABCESPN, there's basically zero competition, and they know it...why spend extra money to be good, or even accurate? People are still going to watch. And people are still going to play fantasy football.

All true. Just like TimeWarner with their worthless Cable and even more worthless rag of a magazine.
It's hard to believe though that ESPN wouldn't have more pride than they obviously do. In the end it comes down to the only thing that matters is their bottom line. Much like so many of today's businesses.

Respectfuly disagree. I think they know EXACTLY what they are doing. They have a formula that gets ratings. All the booyaa billshit is what the dumb-fucks in this country want to hear. They just pander to the idiots that are the core of the viewing audience.

That is why those of us with a mind > than a sponge HATE those knob-gobblers. But then again, I have never been to a NASCAR race, eaten fried balogna, watched Judge Judy, or lived in a trailer.

.

True, but this thread is about their fantasy magazine and Bucklion was referring to ESPN/ABC as a whole. Not just sportcenter and their idiot viewers, etc.
TV, Print, web, etc. It's all junk from them.
But I do agree with your feelings on Sportcenter and much of ESPN's TV audience. Their Booyaa's and guys like Chris Berman make me want to vomit.
It's a shame but I haven't been able to watch sportcenter for a couple of years . When they got rid of Kenny Mayne and started taking themselves seriously I left.

About halfway between Delaware and Marion, there is a restuarant there that is famous for them. Even been on TV on a food show about the "best " sandwiches anywhere.

G & R Tavern, Waldo, Ohio

I like mine with mustard and pickle. They have great pie also. Mmmm... peanutbutter cream pie.

I think he is a Maumee homer. Perhaps Best Buckeye has heard of Engagement. It is about halfway between Dayton and Marion.
