ESPN (A bunch of Death-Spiraling maroons)

Decided to zip through College Football Live. Yeah, I know. They were talking about the QBs in the Clemson at LSU matchup.

Zubin Mehenti: “Leavitt has played everywhere he has been, but never under the white-hot spotlight that he will face Saturday night as LSU’s starter.”

Apparently Leavitt starting a CFP Playoff game where ASU lost to Texas in 2OT wasn‘t much of a spotlight. That was the game that ended just about the same time that Jeremiah Smith was scoring the 1st TD as tOSU was jumping out to a 34-0 lead over Oregon in the Rose Bowl.

I zipped through the rest very quickly.

But if it happened for a non-SEC team, did it really even happen at all?

It did, but only because Arizona State was facing an SEC team in the CFP.

What happened was ASU played an SEC team in the CFP and almost beat them.

Obviously then that means the SEC team didn't want to be there.

Ergo, when he plays LSU on a Saturday night in regular season, they will want to be there and that QB's first time playing an SEC team that really wants to be there.

Desire to be there is like the eye ball test man, you can't argue the science.
