ESPN (A bunch of Death-Spiraling maroons)

Just happened to flip past ESPN yesterday in time to see them interrupt whatever they had on for breaking news alert. Curious as to what it was, I stopped flipping to see what was happening. They broke in to show Tim Tebow making a diving attempt to catch a foul ball (he didn't catch it) - they then showed the same replay in slow motion - and then in the next half inning, he hit a fly ball to the leftcenter field gap that was caught by a diving center fielder. So, they broke into their regular broadcast to show a minor league player (who is never going to make the major league roster) fail to make a play in the field and then fly out. Great job!!

In fairness to me, which is the only thing that matters, I was trying to find a recap of the Duke-Syracuse game to see how Boeheim was acting. So I check in on the mouse network and the first thing that comes on is the Tigerfest.
So coverage went like this:
  • Almost Every Tiger shot albeit he was 8-10 shots back all day
  • The leaders
  • Tiger highlights from the week
  • Some of the other notables
  • Tiger past highlights
  • Chip ins, long putts, awesome shots from other players

I'm sure if you had the word count, the coverage was equal. Also, it's incredibly hard to focus on more than one golfer at a time.
