Recently, on the morning broadcasts of Mike & Mike (yes, I do listen at times) they kept running pie-in-the-sky ads that directed listeners to a website. I couldn't quite believe a major channel (even ESPN) could stoop low enough to get involved with something that was clearly a scam. I checked the website which shows up with a different company name--and immediately wants my name and email. So, I resorted to an online search. Just utter work-from-home scam, that pretty definitely also would end up selling your name & email to about a million other scammers. Can't wait to see the lawsuits that follow, but it sure seems like there could be liability. (If the Feds don't get involved first.)

Anyway, couldn't resist dropping an email to the show.

Really thought you had more integrity than to allow "advertising" on your show for an obvious work-from-home scam like Be The Boss Network (Freedom105). Doesn't anyone at your network vet the products you sell anymore?
Since I couldn't quite believe ESPN could be THAT irresponsible, I did an online search just to check. Found a screen shot of the referrals your listeners will receive once they provide their name and EMAIL address. Do you get a whole LOT of guys listening to sports talk radio who are enthused about the prospect of selling AVON?
Way to prey on other people's desperation. Shame on you, boys. >:(

Not ESPN and not football, but I do have a dislike for most of the Kinja sites, and Screengrabber just made an ESPNesque fuckup in posting an article on how the shitty 76s shocked the GS Warriors 108-105 on a last-second 3-pointer, when the very highlight they post shows the exact opposite happened.

Wow! Listening to the podcast for Mike & Mike from today. Golic does NOT sound well at all. His voice is terribly thin. I know he's been off for an injury, otherwise I'd really think something was wrong.

I can't stand regular news shows, or the people on Today, and am indifferent to the others on ABC/CBS. Stumbled on MikeX2 years ago when I couldn't take any more of a certain MSNBC morning person. They were definitely mellower and--usually-less depressing.
