11w blog post about UFM's first team meeting has the following, probably untrue, quote:

If true, my favorite UFM moment forever.

If so that makes this fool eligible for the following..................

Better? Or just used differently?

Hard to say better since there was a bigger emphasis on the offensive side of the ball that year. We also landed Etienne Sabino and Garrett Goebel that year.

My opinion: I think this class has clear potential to be ALOT better than the 08 class. My reason. Se'Von Pittman, Tommy Schutt, Noah Spence (hopefully), Adolphus Washington, and Jamal Marcus on one side of the ball. And Dunn, Southward, Lewis, Thomas, and Caleb and/or Winston (hopefully) on the other side.

This class is already stacked, and it looks to only get stronger in the next month's time.

I think I'd tend to agree with you for the most part. I just think it's pretty amazing what the right coach with the right philosophy and the right group of players can do. What do I know tho..I always thought Cooper was a dozen wins away from being maybe the greatest Buckeye coach of all time..and by Greatest I mean right behind Woody.

Too bad most of those were supposed to be against Michigan

Sure but think of how he might be viewed with just 6 more wins against tsun. talking 8-4-1..not too shabby...and the bowls following a few of those might have been for much higher stakes. Maybe it's I'm just getting old and forgetful..but I recall scoring some points every once in awhile with JC coaching.

Which brings me to Coach Meyer..who I see as a guy..that will not only score points...but also gets the whole tsun situation. I don't know if he actually said "we are going to score a hundred bleeping points" but if he did..well at this moment...it's my favorite Urban Meyer moment.

When you look back with Cooper, if he wins four games (three against scUM, one against Sparty) he plays for four National Championsips. Imagine if he wins those Championship games how much different his legacy is in Columbus today. Just eight more wins and all of us here have very different memories and very different posts about the Cooper era.

Difference with Meyer is that he has won those games everywhere he has been.
