We have a thread for Offensive Discussion.

2009 tOSU Offense Discussion

Not Jim Tressel's thread.
Not individual player threads.

We are sick of the personal attacks from both sides...and we are sick of the repetitive posts from the same people. Some of you are toeing that line...and you've already received your 'PM talk' We don't play the 'fire the coach' game here.

Stating how poorly the offense has performed in 8 different threads adds nothing to discussion...and makes a mess that the mods have to then take time to clean, delete, merge.

We lost. Get over it and look forward to another Saturday of football.

Clean it up.

AMEN, MY BROTHER!!!!!!! We lost a game that we should not have lost. Does it suck? Yup sure does. I was over it 30 minutes after the game & and on with the rest of my weekend. It is Wendsday and i am stoked for another game this Saturday. GO BUCKS!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, and we especially need the good folks who made this site great to keep on doing so. We need our long-term posters to keep the level of convo high - not necessarily to agree, but BPers have already proven people can disagree about things without overrunning the site with personal attacks.

So let's keep convos where they belong, express opinions without trying to strong-arm others into agreeing, and step back for a moment if things get heated.

And a big thanks to everyone contributing to good discussion... there are many of ya and it's much appreciated!

It's getting embarrassing to be a Buckeye lately. The divide between the alums and the "football fans" becomes so apparent every time we don't exercise our god given entitlement to win each and every football game. Interestingly, the exact opposite is occurring up north. The tsun "football fans" love the new regime, while the alums just cringe and keep fingers crossed that the pain will just go away quickly and quietly.

I'm a "friend" of The Ohio State University Buckeyes on facebook. Recently they posted about Kurt Colemans continued nomination for a national award. Among the comments were continuous bashings of Tressel and Terrelle Pryor. I'm truly embarrassed to be a member of this fan base right now. TP is only a Sophomore I expect great things from him, but I also expect growing pains as well. Tressel will continue to put our team in the best position to win. I have no doubt we will turn things around for the better, and this experience versus Purdue will inevitably turn out for the better.

I could not disagree more with your choice of bathroom towel colors. Ghastly. Pastels? Really Deets, pastels are the best you can do? :shake:

Just ghastly.

And was one game at that. Not a stretch of our season where the goals set before us are all gone. 3/4ths of the goals that the team starts with are still achievable.

1. National Championship
2. Big Ten Championship
3. BCS Game birth
4. Beat scUM

If the fans continue a mentality of bickering the team feels it. If you are guilty of attacking others instead of providing solid contributions to the forum(you know if you did it on purpose) and you plan on going to the game Saturday, go run a few laps, work out at a local gym, cut down some trees, hit a punching bag or whatever. Lose the attitude because when you show up on Saturday, those kids need to feel our backing. If you want any of the other 3 goals to be accomplished it needs to be a true "Homecoming" on Saturday. It's one of the only ways this season stays on track what-so-ever.
