Thump

Hating the environment since 1994
  • I know it's easy to get caught up in the season, "why haven't we thrown to the tight end more," "Why doesn't Troy run more", "Why's the field in such terrible shape" etc...

I sat through many seasons where I wondered if I'd ever see a National Title. I, along with many others, got extremely fortunate in 2002 and witnessed one of the most gritty teams of all time.

This year's team has been an absolute joy to watch. The team plays clean, plays hard, and plays as a single unit.

Being ranked #1 isn't a right, it's a privilege that very few teams and fans ever get to experience.

Just want people to sit back and appreciate all the good things this season has brought. Our players haven't embarrassed the university and have been pure class on and off of the field. When you see the players interviewed, they speak like the fine young men that they are; well-spoken, humble individuals.

We may win the National Title and we may not, who knows. No matter what happens it's been a great ride and I appreciate everything the players and coaches have done for The Ohio State University.

Oh yeah, kick the hell out of Michigan!!!

This season is going too fast.
    The games look effortless.
    Almost too easy.
Can we really be this good?
Is the ghost of John Cooper seasons finally banished? :paranoid:

hOw dare you invoke the name of Cooper...I had finally gotten him out of my mind.... all that talent...and all those losses to scum...fuck...THANK GOD FOR TRESSEL AND TROY...

Tress has TOTALLY changed the culture of the football program.
It's more an issue with us fans than any issue in the players minds.

In fact, what we see is a roll reversal.
Where Carr has become the guy with Tressel in his head!
It's a nagging feeling that some how, some way, he will lose to Tressel.
He's beaten before he takes the field!
