Ellie Mae Gets in a wreck!

You'll probably be sore tomorrow. Glad you're Ok.

I realized long ago, it won't be me that gets me killed. It will be someone else who isn't paying attention. I now drive so defensively it pisses off anyone who rides with me...

BKB is the EXACT same way.. his answer to everything on the road is "go faster" to get ahead of any danger.. COMPLETELY pisses me off, kill yourself if you want just don't take me and the kids with you, I will never understand it and his driving has ruined many road trips...

Ellie... I am really glad you are ok. Hopefully you aren't too sore today.

Elliemae, glad you and the pup are okay...

Thanks! It could of been so much worse! I was 3/4 into my left turn when we hit so the out come was my right front & her right rear. She tried to get in the other lane to avoid it,bad move thank god nobody was coming the other way! It would have been her head on vs. them! I was already on the side of the road. Had I just started to pull out it would be her front end in my left side, that would be very bad.
The Mr. was with me & never saw that coming,he was stunned! The dogs were fine. They had to go potty right after that though. It got them a little excited.
We have the lampshade on her head so she can't eat anymore stitches or staples. I invented a polar fleece sleeve with elastic on both ends & a strap with elastic that goes on the leg & the strap over her back & around the other leg like a sling & it seems to work well.

Whoops... glad he's okay, too. :p

The sleeve thing sounds like it would be very useful... sounds like an interesting outfit, altogether.

Had a similar experience a few years ago... a man in his late 80s, in very poor condition and on oxygen, zoomed out of a side road without stopping and ran right into me. The accident was scary; thinking he was about to have a heart attack in front of us was scarier. He said he hadn't seen anyone coming down the road in a long time, so he'd just given up stopping at the sign. Then the bus carrying my colleagues had to come back to pick up the bumper... kind of embarrassing...

WOW! To the accident with the old man! Was he okay? Did you get hurt at all?
The dog looks like a one legged pirate in her scarlet colored pantaloon!

First off, glad you're ok.

Now. I spent $234 on my fucking cat yesterday at the vet for a shot and check up. I'm scared to know what stitches and restitching would cost.
LOL

well on that note I spent 1864.00 on my dog a few years ago she cut her self from the back or her neck to her stomic on a nail under our deck and had to have 30 stitches.

Well Thank~You Scooter.
That is an awful lot of money for a shot & a check~up.:yow1: Crap was it a routine visit? I'd be looking at other vets! Just sounds really high.
You live in C~bus don't you?
My dogs whole surgery bil was $370 for anesthesia, teeth cleaning, removal of the mass on her leg, biopsy for the mass, bloodwork & post op meds!
Then I got 20%preferred discount & another 20%on that it was just over $200.
George is a very dear friend of mine,he is like a brother to me. He even came up to the house Tuesday & just Sunday night to check on her. We live about a mile away.
He is the main owner of the two practices. he gets perks from me as well~ I pick up their dog & take him to work & groom him, make him collars,etc.1
George went through a terrible divorce in 2001 & we were there for him to lean on.
Nothing for the re stitching which actually was a staple up job last time around.
