Price is a very active athlete capable of making big momentum changing plays. Has the size and athleticism for the inside linebacker at the major level of competition. Shows very good flexibility, balance and agility; can play in space against the pass and is a very consistent run stopper; is quick to K&D against both the run and pass. Flashes the playing strength to take on and defeat run blockers; also has the quickness to avoid contact while working through traffic, demonstrating very good lateral pursuit habits. This guy has the athleticism to move on or off the line of scrimmage; can play downhill and fill gaps while keeping leverage on the ball; shows the ability to play off blockers, keep his legs free while skating to the ball vs. the outside run and does a very good job of flattening down the line of scrimmage on plays away. We like his coverage and pass rushing potential; displays the ability to crossover for depth in zone coverage with good route awareness and eyes on the QB; breaks well on the ball with strong tackling skills; can knock 'em back with punishing toughness. This prospect has good edge speed along with a closing burst to the QB. His great motor and ability as a play maker on defense give us every reason to believe he will be an early contributor on special teams. Price's athleticism and toughness will allow for flexibility when setting up game plans; early playing time beyond special teams is not out of the question, depending upon the school he ultimately ends playing for.
