Eddie Guerrero passes away

I too tuned into the show tonight, even not being a big fan anymore. I didn't fully realize how big he was now. He was truly one of their top performers. From all the testimonials and emotion from the live crowd, you could see a lot of respect and admiration from the man. I remember him from back when I followed wrestling a few years back, and he had made significant strides since then. I actually got a little choked up at the beginning of the show when they spoke about him and gave the tribute video. Unfortunately, it looks like the hard life he lived caught up with him too soon. I know most people look at the WWF as sort of a joke, but those guys do give a lot to their fans and put their bodies on the line for them. Most of all I feel bad for his family. RIP Eddie Guerrero.

I watched the show last night to since I didn't care much for the Monday night game. The Video done to Cash's hurt was really good. Seeing the raw emotion that these wrestlers had just makes you relize how close these guys are. The show was actually taped Sunday night as the WWE was suppose to go on a european tour on Monday. They still sent the wrestlers that wanted to go and anyone that wanted to stay for the funeral didn't go.

So when these interviews were done, it was literally hours after these guys had lost on of their best freinds in the world. It was kind of surreal seeing somone like the Big Show or Chris Beniot cry like a baby.

I have followed wrestling for a long time, not as much recently as I think the product sucks now. That being said I alwys thought that Eddie was one of the best performers out there. He seemed to be able to always draw a crowd in no matter if he wanted the fans to cheer him or boo him. It ius a big hit to the WWE and the wrestling industry.

R.I.P Eddie.

Last night show was great. It is good to see the "bad" guys, and "good" guys together showing that emotion. Some of those guys were really emotional. It was interesting to see.
These guys are mostly like family. They travel together year around, and basically live together more than with their families.

Eddie had a lot of demons in his past, and that had to have taken its toll.
He was an excellent performer, and had a lot of great mic. skills.
He was also very athletic.

He was one of those guys that was really loved as a good guy, and really hated as a bad guy. There aren't many guys out there that could pull that off both ways. Some are only bad guys, or only good guys. Eddie was great as both.

He will be missed. RIP EG

As noted earlier, "The Herd With Colin Cowherd", and Colin Cowherd said some rude comments about Eddie Guerrero's passing. He accused Eddie and other wrestlers of steroid use. Cowherd said, "who cares that he died" and that Guerrero's death was not "newsworthy." He also started speculation on the "unknown causes" of his death. Colin Cowherd has a subsite on ESPN.com.

Anthony Walters sent in a link to me if you'd rather e-mail the people in charge of ESPN radio instead of call them on the phone. CLICK HERE to go to that page.

You can personally voice your thoughts to Colin Cowherd as a person sent me his e-mail address. You can e-mail him at [email protected].

way out of context. he accused all wrestlers of using steroids, he admitted he never followed wrestling, and he was saying a pro wrestler shouldn't fit into the sports section or the entertainment section of a newspaper because pro wrestling isn't a sport but most pro wrestling fans wouldn't even see it in the entertainment section.

What an asshole.

This could go back to the athlete thread........I personally think Wrestlers are MUCH more athletic than any golfer, tennis player, or boxer.

Also interesting how he sorta tied that comment in with steroid use, making it sound like it's so awful. Yet constantly more and more pro athletes are being caught using, or admitting to using steroids. That includes Baseball, Football......

Well i am glad he said that, but how the fuck do you knock a guy that died. He had alot of fans, a hell of alot more than Cowherd ever will. Especially if he makes cockbag remarks like this
You didn't even hear what he said. Besides, why can't you knock somebody who died? Is dying something that only honorable people do? Shit I make fun of Dale Earnhardt all the time
