Ebay Ticket Scams (Merged)

stolen accounts

Be careful of eBay scammers with good feedback...especially if they don't want you to contact them through eBay. These fucks will steal accounts of honest eBay members (people who haven't used their account for a while) to show a history of great feedback. These douche bags are gone by the time you (and the real account holder) discover the scam. This ploy is frequently used by scam artists on eBay.

Anyone buying tickets on eBay should go to the safe harbor board at eBay and ask about suspicious auctions. These people are pretty sharp, and very willing to help. Any honest seller will accept a from of payment (like paypal or credit card) that can offer buyer protection. Any auction asking for Western Union, is as credible as a vote for Lllloyd Carr as coach of the year.

Ohio Ticket Scams On eBay

I understand all you guys concerns about the "Exact Same" seats listed twice on craigslist and eBay. They are people trying to make a couple dollars off the sale through eBays referral system, trust me, it's not worth the time. But anyway, Once someone buys the tickets the link will say ,"This item has ended". I hope that explains all of this confusion to you guys.

Here is an example of one of the links:
