Ebay Ticket Scams (Merged)

Folks, a little advise from someone living internationally: don't buy tickets "sight unseen" across borders in an internet auction unless you really know who and what you are dealing with. You have no practical basis for recovering your money because even if you do have a legal case, the cost is too high.

Another SCAM from EBAY! (LINK) This is GOOD!

This is the 5th SCAM I've found and decided to "play this one out" it pretty interesting and pathetic! I did report this to EBAY...again!

His email is on the listing and I emailed as a "prospective buyer". Here is his response: (TOTAL BULL$HIT!)

I received the tickets as a gift when I was in a business trip in US
I will accept for payment Western Union Money Transfer and the shipping will be with UPS Overnight
Thanks

How did you get these being in LONDON and what is the best way to complete transaction for both of us. I am looking for 4 tickets.

Thanks,

Scott

Then I emailed again: Who gave them to you? That seems kind of ODD! 4 tickets to this game to someone in LONDON? Where in the US did you go to get these?

Thanks,

Scott

And his BOGUS reply: I received the tickets from my business partner
he gave the tickets to me because we make good business and he wan to come again to US
and that's the reason why he gave the tickets to me
Thanks

BTW here is this PRICKS email: [email protected]

NOW WE HAVE HIS ADDRESS! PRICKS LIKE THESE NEED THEIR EMAIL FILLED WITH EMAILS CALLING HIM OUT!

<META content="MSHTML 6.00.2900.2722" name=GENERATOR>Can I see a picture of the tickets FIRST? This is a big amount of money to be sending for something I don't even know exists? And please have them next to a CURRENT dated NEWSPAPER so I know that they are not a copied picture!

Thanks,

Scott

I don't have picture

you can see my ebay feedback
it's your choice if you buy or not
I have other customers and if you don't agree with my terms I just sell the tickets to another buyer
Thanks and I waiting for your answer

Gee, who would expect a guy with the email name of "ilovetix2005" to try and scam people with bogus ticket auctions. HAYN, report his ass to EBay...

Also, this clown "just happens to have" tickets to a Red Sox/Yankees game at Fenway Park for Sep 30th. Where is this English bloke getting all these great American sports tickets?

We don't say "bloke" enough in America.

Where is this bloking bloke getting all these bloking great sports tickets? Probably from some bloke who lives two blokes over, next to the bloke with the funny bloke in the window. That bloke really blokes me off!

I am too. He told me he doesn't have any pictures of the tickets but he has a good ebay feedback.

My friend says I should tell him I'm on my way to England for Christmas and we could meet to do the exchange in person.....but I don't want to scare him off yet.
