I got married in October.

Yes we had 3 large TVs with the game on during the reception. There was no way the game wouldn't be on.

(I at least made sure it was an away game).

We beat Wisconsin 23-7 that day.

Okay, here's one from the old school:
at our 5-year high school reunion, held in December 78, we had one TV with the Gator Bowl on--- OMG Woody just hit a guy!!! --- and one TV watching OSU hoopsters beat Duke --- OMG, we beat Duke, ranked #1, with Mike Gminski!!!

I guess most of us guys were still single, so we didn't have wives telling us we couldn't watch sports during the reunion!!! HA ha ha ha ha!

Man I remember the days when I actually was able to make my own decisions. Now it seems a 10 year old, a 6 month old, and the lady must think I am mentally overtaxed so they take those things away from me as well...

They must be drugged up with something if they are actually willingly getting married :shudder:, and during football season at that. Why in the hell do male football fans agree to this is beyond me.

Been there, done that, and almost made that mistake twice, but never would I have done it from late August through the end of January. Just sayin'.

Good luck guys, hope the formaldehyde in the jar will keep 'em fresh for ya to look at once in a while.

Anyway, back on topic. I hope that this isn't one of those games where the Buckeyes looks past the competition and have a crappy game keeping EMU in it until the end. I really would like to get a look a KG behind center for a couple of series.

tOSU stops rotating the first string in and out very early in the third quarter.
EMU gets a garbage time TD on either the third or fourth string defense.

Getting married on a fall Saturday can only be legally done during the bye week. If any of friends were to get married on game day, I simply wouldn't attend. It would be their fault for not thinking it through. They should expect a light attendance anyway.

Which is why you marry an Ohio State grad. Not only does she want to watch the Buckeyes, but she knows better than to set something up during the game that wouldn't give an opportunity to still watch the game.
