It was a blatantly obvious intentional high stick, with a lot of force. About the suspension, I'm a little biased, of course. :p

Malkin is playing like a man possessed.. I love it. Probably wouldn't be a bad idea to put him with Crosby for a couple lines.

Evgeni Malkin is channeling his inner GOD. He's playing unbelievable hockey right now. Since he came out of the box last, he's seriously played the best hockey I've ever seen him play.

I think he said "Fuckin' A!" to one of his line mates when they came over to celebrate. :lol:

Going to have to disagree. He backhanded it about an inch away from the top right corner of the post, not an ideal rebound location. He also had his back to the net, so he couldn't even see what was there. That was all skill there..

Getting a little rough out there. Satan was fighting, Fedetenko just slashed a guy. It was either Guerin or Talbot who threw an elbow to the face of one of the defenders. One of Carolina's guys checked the back of Guerin's head, etc.

Heck of a game. I think the next game is going to be a physical one.. just a hunch.
